Process Stage 1

Understanding your requirements

The Dragon Mountain team must thoroughly understand your business requirements in order to research and assess how your needs can be met in China. We will give you, at no cost or risk to you, a clear proposal on how to proceed. Our relationship with you begins with your returning to us:

  1. a Client Profile Form (download here) and
  2. a statement of your requirements.

Client Requirements

A client’s requirements usually consist of the answers to the following questions:

  • What are the specifications of your product or materials or market?
  • Have you determined a realistic target price that you would pay?
  • How did you work out that target price? Have you assessed the additional costs of packaging, freight forwarding, customs brokerage fee and insurance?
  • What quantity will you want in a first order, and how frequently will you likely place new orders if you are satisfied with the supplier?
  • If we find the items you require for the specifications and delivery price, are you ready to go ahead immediately?
  • Is this sourcing project important, and has to go ahead?
  • Do you look at Dragon Mountain as a long term partner with you?

Our Initial Proposal

In our Initial Proposal to you, Dragon Mountain research on each potential Chinese supplier or customer will include a Stage 1 Report containing:

  • A brief profile of the company, or the companies Internet website URL.
  • A statement of how the company’s products and service will meet your technical and quality requirements.
  • The company’s pricing schemes, that can form the basis for contract negotiation.
  • An assessment of the quality control practices of the company.
  • An assessment of the reliability, security and performance of the company.

Product samples and a site visit report may be provided along with the Initial Proposal.

The Stage 1 Initial Proposal is provided at no charge in order for you to assess our Dragon Mountain services and the potential for sourcing your requirements in China. However, the report cannot be the basis for placing an order directly with a Chinese supplier.

In our Stage 2 service, further clarification of requirements, negotiation, contract development and export process are always necessary in China to ensure that your company interests are guaranteed.
